Alright, let’s get to the juicy part…

My business became a “thing” back in 2016 because I needed a way out of the corporate world. 

A world that always made me feel guilty for taking time off work. 

Staying home with sick kids. Bad. Taking a vacation. Bad. Taking care of my physical health. Bad. If I wasn’t at my desk 24-7, I was made to feel like the worst employee ever. 

But, the real kicker came when I was at home on bed rest after a preterm labor scare. I got a letter in the mail saying that I was no longer an employee at the government agency I was with — my supervisor and coworkers totally unaware of the termination. (I was due to give birth two months later.)

True story.

That was the moment I decided the corporate world wasn’t for me. 

Not if they’re going to dump me like that.

I’ve always loved writing, so my fingers got to work turning words into a career I could do from home. 

What started as blog writing on UpWork for mere dollars, has now turned into working on major launch projects with entrepreneurs and creative spirits from all over the world. Clients who also want to turn their passions into a profitable career.

Most days you’ll find me typing away in my home office with my furry CEO, Ellie, by my side.  Other days you’ll find me on the sidelines of my kids soccer games, out in my flower garden, or listening to the latest Dateline episode while cleaning my house. 


Sounds weird, but I find the combo of true crime and cleaning a little relaxing.
